An Ancient Chinese Teapot Was Handed Over to the Prime Minister

PHNOM PENH: An ancient Chinese teapot was handed over to the Prime Minister by one family at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh on Wednesday, 8 February 2023.

The Ancient Chinese teapot was owned by an 80-year-old man named Long Saroeun, and his wife, Yos Hiek.

According to an attached note, this teapot is from the 19th-century and was crafted in China. It has a dragon seal design and Chinese characters and was preserved by Long Saroeun and his wife, as it was handed down by his family ancestors.

After receiving the ancient teapot, the Prime Minister handed it over to the National Museum of Cambodia for preservation.
